The second IBPS Exam for the
selection of Probationary officer/ management Trainee in 19 Public
Sector bank was held on 17th June 2012 in two different sessions. Lakhs
of candidates have appeared in the exam, some of them are new and some
of them have appeared second time. But IBPS has set this time the
toughest paper of banking recruitment history as per students reported
in many banking discussion forums of several websites and Facebook
pages.
As per the attempts shared by the appearing students in different websites, Facebook groups and Facebook pages of different websites. we made the below predictions about the exam papers of each sections.

Looking
at the level of questions and considering the number of attempts by
students in the survey, we found that individual sectional cut-off in
terms of marks will be much lower for this 2nd CWE Exam. we are
explaining the complete cut off process both in terms of marks and TWS.
(candidates should remember that the score which IBPS will give will be
in terms of TWS)
Cut off in terms of marks
Reasoning – 10 Marks(GEN), 8 Marks (Reserved category)
Quantitative Aptitude – 12 Marks(GEN), 9 Marks (Reserved category)
General Awareness - 15 Marks(GEN), 12 Marks (Reserved category)
Computer Awareness – 15 Marks(GEN), 12 Marks (Reserved category)

if you have attempted more than the above marks with 95-100% accuracy or if you are sure that you will be getting this marks, then Don’t worry, Stay Positive and remember that cut off will be determined on Group Performance of all appearing candidates.

Note: TWS is always higher than actual marks obtain by candidate
(i)
Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective
test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying
penalty for wrong answers.
(ii) The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores*.
(iii) The Equated Scores so obtained are standardized** to arrive at Final Standard Score with a minimum ‘0’ and maximum ‘50’ by Linear Transformation Method.
